The State Criminal Police Office (LKA) Berlin is investigating an explosion that opponents of the corona measures are said to have triggered.
On Sunday, strangers set off a self-made explosive device in Invalidenstrasse.
A witness heard a thud around 9:30 a.m. and saw a flame in the arch of a house.
Nobody got hurt.
Fire accelerators and spray cans
According to SPIEGEL information, investigators found a letter of confession at the crime scene demanding the immediate suspension of all corona restrictions, the resignation of the federal government and new elections.
Otherwise further actions would follow, it says in the letter.
The explosive device prepared with a fire accelerator contained a computer battery and several spray cans.
Connections to other violent actions by suspected corona deniers, such as the arson attack on the Robert Koch Institute, would be examined, said a police spokesman.
In the LKA, the department for right-wing extremist crime is responsible for the case.
The Berlin police asked for further information about the incident.
