Just over 24 hours after the eviction of the land occupied for more than 100 days in Guernica, protesters cut the Obelisk in solidarity with those who were displaced from the place.
Both Avenida 9 de Julio and Avenida Corrientes have congested traffic because a column of militants led by the Polo Obrero march towards the Ministry of Social Development a few blocks from the Plaza de la República and then towards the Plaza de Mayo.
As reported, the traffic is diverted from Avenida Córdoba and does not affect the circulation of the buses on the Metrobus of July 9.
They demand a housing plan, more money for the picnic areas and dining rooms, a salary for the people who serve in those places because the number of people who attend has tripled and in rejection of the eviction of Guernica.
This is the second consecutive day of marches, cuts and pickets by social organizations and left-wing parties.
On Thursday they blocked about
fifteen points of the City and entrances
in peak hours, which made it difficult for traffic throughout the morning in places such as Puente Pueyrredón, Puente Saavedra, Acceso Oeste, Panamericana, Autopista Buenos Aires-La Plata, Avenida 9 de Julio, Avenida Independencia, Avenida de Mayo, among others.
