According to what emerged in the last hours, a delegation headed by the Secretary for Access to Health,
Carla Vizzotti
, traveled to Moscow to negotiate the purchase of the second version of the Sputnik V vaccine, developed by the government of Vladimir Putin.
Clarín
learned from very high sources that Russia will make a sale to Argentina through the HLB Pharma Group laboratory.
The agreement is expected
to be ready by December
and will reach 6 to 10 million doses.
Both the Nation and the Province estimate that these vaccines would first be aimed at health professionals and the population at risk.
Sputnik V was the
first vaccine to be registered in the world,
in August, when Putin announced that he had won the global race for the dose, and that he had even tested on his own daughter.
The Lancet
medical journal
recently published that 100% of healthy adults participating in Phase I and II clinical trials of Sputnik V demonstrated a strong immune response against SARS-CoV-2.
Meanwhile, the second wave of infections continues to hit hard in several European countries, several of them with unprecedented numbers of positives to date.
Germany reported another 19,059 infections today, beating yesterday's record of 18,681.
Other countries with new daily records in the last hours were Portugal (4,007) and Poland (21,897).

The "top ten" is completed by Colombia, the United Kingdom and Mexico.
