(ANSA) - NEW YORK, OCT 31 - The American medical association rebels against the attack of Donald Trump, who accused them of inflating the numbers of coronavirus deaths for money. "The idea that doctors, in the midst of a public health crisis, are pumping up the numbers on Covid-19 patients to line their pockets is a slander, an offensive wrongdoing," said Susan Bailey, president of the American Medical Association. "Instead of attacking us and riding groundless accusations, our leaders - adds Bailey - should follow science and demand compliance with the measures we know work, that is, wearing a mask, washing hands and practicing social distancing".
