(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 31 - A strong public-private partnership for the management of resources of the NextGeneration EU that can act as a lever for "investments in the real long-term economy and with facilitated taxation to support climate action, the needs of families, relaunch education, enhance the Third Sector and support the social groups that have suffered the most incisive effects of the crisis, such as women and young people ".

This is what the Sustainable Finance Forum asks in a letter addressed to the government in view of the 2020 edition of the Sri (Social Responsible Investment) Week from 11 to 25 November, asking for a commitment on 8 main actions.

    The intent is that, the letter reads, "to build an investment plan that does not place the burden of growth on future generations and that guarantees the sustainability and resilience of public finance".

    In particular, the Forum asks to use the European taxonomy of eco-compatible activities to identify strategic sectors on which to intervene;

promote sustainable finance tools that accelerate the transition to renewable energy sources;

align public finance instruments with climate benchmarks;) issue sovereign and regional green and social bonds, sustainability and transition bonds, to be used for the health and education system, against the gender gap;

modify budget constraints and debt limits for the issuance of green and regional sovereign social bonds;

Encourage the disbursement of credit lines linked to sustainability objectives (sustainability-linked); support impact investing for initiatives that guarantee an environmental and financial return on the invested capital.
