(ANSA) - BARI, 01 NOV - "Wednesday I had a crisis while I was squeezing a pillow, I thought that unlike me, others embrace real girls and so I burst into tears.

I bought some tools ... I want to kill someone, I want to I accepted the room, in the same house as F., and I already have the keys and from here when I leave I will be able to kill Daniele ... I'd like a woman first, but I think that will be a good starting point ".

Antonio De Marco, the murderer of the engaged couple from Lecce Daniele De Santis and EleonoraManta, wrote this on 7 August in his diary that in recent days it was handed over to investigators from Salento.

From the pages of the diary emerges all the fragility of the 21-year-old from Casarano, who on September 21 stabbed the two thirty-year-olds in the Lecce apartment where they had decided to live together.

The diary begins with a sentence written in red pen in block capitals: "Reasons why we are not normal".

And then follow a list: "Always speak in the plural; the beast I feel inside when I cry; the refusal of 18 years".

Then various references to the suffering after surgery on the spine he had undergone: "The fact that he wanted to die under the knife (and not only)".

Finally, Antonio De Marco's suffering of not being loved, of having been rejected by a classmate: "Every day that passes it seems that I am becoming less and less loved, but what can I do? It is not my fault if no one loves me!".

Hence the decision to kill Daniele and Eleonora who loved each other and were beautiful and happy.
