(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 01 - Strike by the staff of the undertakers in Spain: we are few - it is the claim - we cannot manage the increasing flow of coronavirus deaths. The BBC reports. Trade unions support the need to increase staff to prevent the burial delays already experienced in the first wave of the pandemic in March. Last spring the burials suffered delays of up to a week and the cremations took place hundreds of kilometers away from the place of death.


    Since the beginning of the pandemic, according to data from JohnsHpkindìs University, Spain has recorded over 1.1 million infections and 35,000 victims. (HANDLE).
