Covid: Infections below 30,000, 208 victims

Infections for Covid in Italy are decreasing, they are 29,907 (yesterday 31,758), according to the bulletin of the Ministry of Health, but compared to over 30,000 fewer tampons (183,457 compared to 215,886 yesterday);

the increase in victims is 208 in 24 hours, also decreasing (yesterday 297).

The currently positive are 378,129 (+26,743 in 24 hours), the healed and discharged 292,380 (+2,954).

There are 357,288 people in home isolation (+25,711).

Intensive care patients increased by 96 units in 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of people in intensive care to 1,939.

The new hospitalized in ordinary wards are 936, for a total number of 18,902.

Both figures are essentially stable compared to yesterday.



New high for the positive-swab ratio: in the last 24 hours the percentage has reached 16.3%.

The previous record was recorded yesterday at 14.7%.

There are 8,607 new positives in Lombardy and the total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic in the region has thus exceeded 200 thousand units, reaching 204,351.

With 39,658 swabs performed, the swab / positive percentage rises to 21.7% (yesterday 19%).

There are 54 deaths for a total of 17,589 deaths in the region since the start of the pandemic.

Both intensive care admissions (+26, 418 in total) and in other wards (+213, 4,246) are growing.

The metropolitan city of Milan remains the most affected area with 3,695 new cases, of which 1,554 in the city of Milan, always followed by the provinces of Varese (1,238) and Monza and Brianza (1,195).
