Death of Sean Connery: the actor suffered from dementia, reveals his wife

The Scottish actor, who died at the age of 90, suffered from dementia, according to his wife, quoted Sunday by the tabloid The Mail on Sunday.

“At least he died in his sleep and it was very peaceful.

I was with him all the time and he just passed out.

That's what he wanted, ”said Micheline Roquebrune, French portrait painter whom the legendary 007 performer had married for a second time in 1975.“ He was suffering from dementia and it had really had negative effects on him ”, said she revealed.

"He was magnificent and we had a wonderful life together", also confided Micheline Roquebrune.

“It's going to be very hard without him, I know that.

But it couldn't last forever and he left peacefully, ”she added.

Sean Connery died surrounded by his family in Nassau, Bahamas.

US President Donald Trump underlined his "strong character", assuring that the Scot had helped him in his projects in Scotland, where Donald Trump owns a golf course.

“I was struggling to get approvals for a big development project in Scotland when Sean stepped in and shouted: Let him build this damn thing,” the US president tweeted.

"It was all I needed, everything went wonderfully from there."

The legendary actor, 007 Sean Connery, has past on to even greener fairways.

He was quite a guy, and a tough character.
