Sean Connery did not suffer when he died, but his mental state had deteriorated before his death.
The Scottish actor, who died at the age of 90, suffered from dementia, according to his wife, quoted Sunday by the tabloid The Mail on Sunday.
“At least he died in his sleep and it was very peaceful.
I was with him all the time and he just passed out.
