"The suspension of face-to-face teaching
will not be without consequences
. We must be aware of the social price that all of us will pay and of the individual price that the students will pay: it will be high and, unfortunately, we will realize this in the coming years".
Thus Antonello Giannelli, President of the National Presidi Association, commented on the possibility that high schools could switch to 100% distance learning.
"Now managers and teachers are called to a further reorganization effort but, despite their great commitment, there is a risk of a widening of the training gap that is difficult to recover", continues Giannelli.
"We strongly ask - is Giannelli's appeal - that this period, which I hope will be short, be used to reorganize transport and health care and therefore to allow, if the contagion situation permits, a resumption of lessons in presence also for high school ".
