Prince William was infected with the coronavirus in April, but it was kept secret.
This was revealed by a source from Kensington Palace cited by both the BBC and the Sun, while the building refuses to comment at the time.
The infection occurred more or less at the same time as that of his father Carlo, who instead made it publicly known.
To decide for the confidentiality in the case of William - says the source - was the Duke of Cambridge himself, 38, claiming he did not want to "alarm the nation" further.
