(ANSA) - TOKYO, NOV 4 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the session up after yesterday's holiday, following the positive closure of the US stock indices with investors who begin to examine the first results of the US electoral vote.
The benchmark Nikkei index marks a rise of 1.53% to 23,650.82, adding 355 points.
On the currency market, the loyen, after appreciating, is stable against the dollar at 104.40 and the euro at 122.80.
