For the first time in history, tourists will be able to tour the ruins of the Titanic, which set out on a voyage from Britain to the United States in 1912 with about 2,500 people on board, about 1,500 of whom died after drowning in the Atlantic Ocean following a collision with a glacier.

According to the plan of the Canadian tour company "Ocean Gate", nine guests will be able to embark on a nine-day expedition, which will depart from the seaport of Newfoundland in Canada towards the ruins.

The private tour of the submarine, which will dive into the depths to a depth of about 3.8 kilometers, will cost about 96,000 pounds (about 420,000 shekels), and at any time five people can stay in it.

36 people have so far signed up for the unconventional tour, which is expected to last between six and eight hours.

According to Stockton Head, President of Ocean Gate, divers should not worry about unpleasant sights: "All the drowning bones are gone, only boots, shoes and clothes remain that show how people behaved 100 years ago."

Since the ship's remains were discovered in 1985, only a few scientists and researchers have examined the ruins.

An exceptional case is that of American director James Cameron, who directed the 11-Oscar-winning film about the sinking of the ship, which also visited the ruins.
