Coronavirus in Argentina: another 212 deaths and 5,331 new cases confirmed, the lowest record of infections since August

According to the Ministry of Health of the Nation there are 1,242,182 positives in the country and 33,560 deaths.

The Ministry of Health reported this Sunday that 212 (136 men and 76 women) deaths from coronavirus were reported and that 5,331 new infections were identified in the last 24 hours.

It is

the lowest record of infections since Sunday, August 23,

when 5,352 were reported.

There are 1,242,182 positives in the country, of which 1,062,911 are recovered patients and 145,711 are active confirmed cases.

At the moment, the number of deceased people is 33,560.

"In the last 24 hours, 14,025 tests were carried out and since the beginning of the outbreak, 3,228,651 diagnostic tests for this disease were carried out, which is equivalent to 71,152 samples per million inhabitants," the statement from the health portfolio detailed.
