(ANSA) - LUCCA, 08 NOV - First an attack with sexist words then the shoving against four police officers who intervened in a bar in Lucca, at the request of the police, because too many people sat at the same tables.
This was announced by the Municipality of Lucca.
Initially two agents sent to the site, a café in via Vittorio Veneto, found a table with 12 people together, groups of six customers at other tables and a general condition of lack of distance. The intent of the security guards, unanota explains, was to invite people to respect interpersonal safety distances but the owner of the bar, instead of inviting patrons to tone down and adapt to requests, made the situation more tense. The climate has degenerated and the intervention of a second patrol was necessary, including the inspector on duty. When the agents arrived, other people joined in with further sexist insults. In the excitement, we read again, one of the police officers was slightly hit by making her cap fly off her uniform. The situation subsided only upon the arrival of the police and with the closing of the premises at 6pm. Investigations are underway for the identification and assessment of the positions of the persons responsible for the episode. (HANDLE).
