Libya: Pope, I hope for stability, an end to suffering

(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, NOV 08 - "Today in Tunis the meetings of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum will begin which will involve all the parties".

The Pope recalled this at the Angelus adding: "I sincerely hope that in this delicate moment a solution will be found to the long suffering of the Libyan people and that the recent agreement for a permanent ceasefire will be respected and concretized".

The Pope therefore invited the faithful to the streets to pray "for peace and stability in Libya".


    Always with an eye to the difficult situations in some areas of Africa, the Pope added: "I am following with concern the news that arrives from Ethiopia. peaceful of discord ". (HANDLE).
