With the exit in stages from the quarantine and the hope that we will not return to another quarantine in the coming months, the people of Israel were recently informed that it is possible to return and travel.

This is a huge line for all those hiking lovers who have been hidden in their homes for months - especially during the holidays - without the ability to enjoy the rich and diverse nature of the Land of Israel.

Many are waiting for the moment when they will be able to fly again without being required for isolation.

We are here to remind you that we have an amazing country, and that even near your home there are magical places.

One of the best-known travelers in Israel today is Ohad Navon (27), originally from Ness Ziona.

The former traveler "for himself" has become a network anchor, and thousands follow his various travels in Israel and around the world.

A fan has been traveling around the globe for the past three and a half years and earning a living documenting his experiences.

Today we will experience the northern section.

This is the first part in a series of articles by "Ohad the Hobo" on the Israel Trail.

Speaking to The Hobo Fan, he tells us: "I started a regular post-army trip that got a little extreme - I became the spiritual leader of tribes that were once cannibals in Papua New Guinea, shaved my hair in Tibet and dived with white sharks in Australia."

The hobo also says: "I returned to Israel after a whole year of traveling and started studying chemical engineering at the Technion. I quickly realized that my priorities were confused and that I preferred to travel the world. I left school, started a travel blog, and since then it's what I do for a living. , In Taiwan and Korea, I spent another half year in Africa, and in the last year I have been in Alaska, Canada, Antarctica and South America.

"The corona caught me in a survival workshop in the Amazon in Bolivia - and I returned to Israel on a rescue plane. I traveled all seven continents, went into detention in Morocco, hitchhiked and slept in a tent all over North America including meeting bears, and lots of other experiences. "Happy, depending on the level of comfort he is looking for. Now I do the entire Israel Trail. I would be very happy for you to take part in the experience and join the special broadcasts that I prepare for you."

"A lot of people ask me, 'How do I live only from hiking?'

"Well, I make a living mostly from sponsors and lecturers," says Ohad.

"The method of operation is that we shoot a lot all the time. Or Ben Yehuda and Alon Assaf Georgi, our two photographers, are very professional and have excellent equipment, which even includes a skimmer. Every end of the Niv Bin section, my video editor, comes to collect the materials from us. Many people think that documenting the trail reduces the intensity of the experience - in my opinion quite the opposite. As someone who has been hiking for several years, photography and editing add an interesting and challenging touch - to succeed in bringing the Israel Trail to everyone in an authentic and experiential way, making the information accessible to other hikers. It is also a mission. "
