A historic moment in the world took place last night (Saturday) when Democratic candidate Joe Biden emerged as the new President of the United States for 2020.

Along with him, a new vice president was also elected - Kamla Harris.

This will in fact be the first time ever that a woman has served as vice president, and moreover, a woman who is African-American who comes from an Asian-American immigrant family.

For the moment creating this history, Harris chose to wear a tailored and elegant total look in white, in memory of the women’s movement and suffrage in the early 1920s.

The look in question included a white tailored Carolina Herrera suit with a buttoned silk shirt with a cream-colored bow tie tied by Tori Birch, large tight-fitting pearl earrings and mobile-colored pointed heels.

The price of the suit: NIS 11,000 and the price of the shirt: NIS 1,340, and it is still available for purchase on the website here.

For the launch speech of the First Vice President of the United States in front of the whole world, the choice of look was precise, flattering and especially chic, we loved very much and is not changing or advising otherwise.

Harris came out to the audience against the backdrop of a song by the successful black music star Mary J. Blige, which reminded the world of her support for the BLACK LIFE MATTERS movement, a moment that was a huge victory for masses of people in the United States.

The reactions on Twitter to the iconic look and moment in question were stormy and most of them praised the choice and noted that it represents power and style, and that the combination with the song was accurate.

Harris said in a speech to hundreds of people, "Even though I'm the first woman in this office, I will not be the last. Every little girl who watches tonight, sees that it is a country of possibilities, will dream with ambition."

The White House's future woman, Jill Biden, wore an asymmetrical floral midi dress in Oscar de la Renta's navy from his latest resort collection for 21/20, with pointed heels and an antique pink bow tie by Jimmy Ch And the accessory of the year 2020 - a black mask on the face.

The dress in question was available for purchase on websites around the world, but very quickly became sold out after the moment of the big winning speech dropped to a liquidation price of 70%, with the final price being only $ 1,707.

According to American Vogue magazine, the dress in question showed the world the seriousness as well as the courtesy that Biden will bring to the role of first lady.

At the same time they added that her accessible and feminine fashion style is very reminiscent of that of her friend and former presidential wife Michelle Obama.

Another thing we mentioned about the dress, is that it was designed by Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, two immigrants who work in the prestigious fashion brand who trained under Oscar de la Renta, who was himself an immigrant from the Dominican Republic.

Garcia and Kim are basically the main designers of the brand who took the place of de la Renta after his death in 2016.
