Sad:

News presenter 12 Ofer Hadad managed to excite many viewers today (Sunday), when the edition he presented this time was accompanied by a personal and painful revelation.

"A week ago, a 58-year-old man with a background illness died at Ichilov Hospital after falling ill in Corona - it was my uncle," Haddad revealed.

"His name is Successful, and he is what is called a patient in a risk group. The corona stopped him at the height of life, at the height of animals. He was one of the smartest, most loved and funny people I have ever known in my life."

Haddad went on to tell how the family got up from the shiva over the weekend, after his uncle was hospitalized last month in the Ichilov intensive care unit between heaven and death, receiving dedicated care from the local medical staff.

"Despite this," he added sadly, "he did not survive. He survived a bomb blast in Lebanon, he survived a serious illness, but the corona overwhelmed him," he shared with viewers.

"We do not know who infected him but it is likely that he is a young and healthy person who did not know he had any disease, it could be any of us," he added, asking at the end to convey a message: "Personal request from me. Next time you have no power to the mask, Really little one, do not think of yourself.Think of four children that he will no longer accompany to the canopy, think of my grandmother, who at the age of 88 with a clear mind with a broken heart had to bury a son.

My condolences Ofer.

Very strong things.

"Think of them and of him, not of yourself, and you may succeed in preventing the unnecessary death of a man who was dear to so many people," he concluded.

The moving confession that surfaced on Haddad's Twitter and Facebook quickly gained hundreds of likes and received encouraging responses from colleagues and surfers: "Ofer's condolences. Very strong things," wrote the news presenter from the rival channel Tamar Ish Shalom.

Geula Even also wrote: "My condolences, Ofer," and Or Ravid added: "You will not know, dear brother, you are moved."
