Airlines have already begun selling airline tickets to the UAE, but it is currently unclear where the process of approving Israelis' entry into the country stands.

According to the details of the agreement signed on October 20 at Ben Gurion Airport, the two governments are expected to ratify the agreement and then transfer a letter between them. Residents of the UAE will be able to enter Israel without the need for a visa.

The United Arab Emirates ratified the agreement about a week and a half ago, but the Israeli government is delaying and has not yet done so.

Israir has already sold thousands of tickets for flights departing in less than thirty days, at the UAE airline, fly dubay has also started selling for flights departing from 26 November, in just under three weeks.

Dubai Airlines is expected to operate its first flight on December 3 and El Al has flown flights to Dubai on the departure schedule at Ben Gurion Airport since the end of November, the last two have not yet started selling airline tickets.

The Foreign Ministry did not know how to answer the question of how customers who purchased tickets for these dates could enter the Emirates, as well as various government officials who deal with the issue.

One of the options that comes up in conversations with industry insiders is that the airlines will provide special entry permits for all those customers who purchased tickets for days when the visa agreement will not yet take effect, but even they did not know how to answer us at the airlines.

The Population and Immigration Authority clarified that the entry into force of the visa agreement between the countries may take effect in about a month and a half to two months and that this is a process that is being processed.

However, they did not rule out that Israeli tourists would be allowed to enter the Emirates, but as stated, they will have to get permission to do so and will not be able to enter without a visa, even in this matter, no official body knows how to explain how it will work.

Israir responded: "There is a great demand for direct flights to Dubai both among foreign passport holders and among Israeli passport holders who have been booked to Dubai by various parties. "Purchase a travel cancellation shield at a cost of $ 20 that allows a flight to be canceled for any reason, 48 hours before the flight date. The company believes and hopes that the issue of visas for Israelis will be settled by the beginning of December."

The Israir website also emphasizes and signs the ticket buyers before the purchase that the agreements have still been approved and that due to the situation, there may be changes in flights.
