(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 11 - The Slovak government has decided to extend the state of emergency in force in the country until the end of the year to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
This was announced by the Minister of Justice Maria Kolikova reported by the Guardian.
Launched in early October, the state of emergency gives the government extra powers to impose more restrictive measures and should have ended on Saturday.
In total in Slovakia, a country with 5.5 million inhabitants, there have so far been 414 deaths from Covid.
