The 46 centimeter
doll
had failed a test by Stiftung Warentest *, which will be described in detail in the next issue (12/2020).
The testers discovered a
harmful flame retardant
in the shoe soles
.
"The flame retardant found in the
rag doll Elsa
is TCPP, tris - (2-chloroisopropyl) phosphate," writes Stiftung Warentest on its website.
This substance is suspected of promoting cancer.
The TCPP content was "many times above the EU limit for
small children's toys
," it said.

Stiftung Warentest
informed
Disney
, whereupon the group issued the
warning
.
“We noticed that small foam
elements
in the feet of this
plush doll contain
a higher proportion of flame retardant than expected.
This can
pose
a
risk to children
if parts are swallowed.
Accordingly, this does not meet our strict security requirements.
No other products are affected by this recall *, ”says the Disney Store Europe website.

The batch code is located on the sewn label.
It always begins with "FAC".
Disney is
asking customers who
bought
the
doll to
stop using it.
