American TV presenter Conan O'Brien (57) has announced that he will be leaving his night show, "Conan".
The latest show will air in June 2021, marking 28 years, during which O'Brien aired the show in various packages, including the "Light Night" show, which he began presenting after the departure of David Letterman and the "Tonight Show."
"In 1993 Johnny Carson (one of the first presenters of the Tonight Show. D.S.) gave me the best advice I had ever received in my career: 'Switch to a streaming platform as soon as possible,'" O'Brien joked in a press release. Termination of his role in the night program.
However, comedian fans will not have to part with it completely, as next year a new, weekly show starring O'Brien will air on the HBO MAX streaming platform.
In a statement he issued, he also referred to his departure for a new path, writing: "I am glad that I get to continue what I do there, and look forward to receiving a free subscription."
It is worth mentioning that in 2017 O'Brien even visited Israel as part of a series of specials he presented on the channel and dealt with in various countries.
During his visit to Israel, he met with senior figures and well-known figures in Israel, including Prime Minister Netanyahu and local stars, such as Lior Raz and Gal Gadot.
