The "Black Panther" actor Michael B. Jordan was named "Sexiest Man Alive" by the US magazine "People".
"It's a cool feeling," said the 33-year-old about his nomination, according to the magazine.
Before Jordan, singer John Legend was awarded in 2019 and actor Idris Elba in 2018.
He is the third black in a row to receive the pop culture award.
“It's a good club to belong to,” he said in an interview with “People”.
The magazine has awarded the title every year since 1985. The first prize winner was actor Mel Gibson.
Jordan also follows in the footsteps of men like George Clooney, Brad Pitt and David Beckham.
Jordan said the women in his family were proud of the title: “When my grandmother was alive she collected the magazine, and my mother and aunts read it too.
It will have a special place for them. "
Spectators guess the title holder
This year's "Sexiest Man Alive" was announced on the show by US comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
Jordan performed there himself - wearing a yellow protective suit, his face could not be recognized at first.
Viewers could use yes or no questions to guess who was wearing the suit.
"He is sexy, he is alive," commented Kimmel when a viewer typed correctly.

Jordan started his career as a child actor on television shows like "All My Children".
His Hollywood breakthrough came in 2013 with Fruitvale Station, a social justice drama.
In 2015 he starred in the "Rocky" boxing series "Creed" and three years later he took it on in "Black Panther" as the villain Erik Killmonger, with the main character played by the late Chadwick Boseman.
The actor advocates more diversity in Hollywood.
His production company introduced contractual clauses in 2018 that are supposed to guarantee a diverse cast and crew.
Earlier this year, at the height of the Black Lives Matter movement, Jordan teamed up with a nonprofit and launched an initiative against systemic racism in Hollywood.
