In 2013, when the PlayStation 4 was released, video games and its 8 billion euros in turnover only represented 12% of the Japanese group's income.
Seven years later, the situation is quite different.
In the first half of 2020, video game activities accounted for a third of the group's turnover.
Better yet: almost half of Sony's profits came from its PlayStation branch.
