(ANSA) - MILAN, NOV 19 - "Today, for the first time since the start of the new wave, the total number of hospitalizations in Lombardy is negative (-32)". This was announced by the president of the Lombardy Region Attilio Fontana on Facebook.
"A new little sign of improvement. It could be an isolated date or the start of the descent," he said.
"The numbers are not as high as the wave we faced amarzo but our hospitals are taking care of 8,291 hospitalized people and 915 intensive care patients with enormous commitment" writes Fontana in the post.
"Consolidating the 'minus' sign on these two numbers - he continues - is our absolute priority: caution, distancing and masks". (HANDLE).
