(ANSA) - BERLIN, NOVEMBER 22 - Angela Merkel said she was "worried" about the slow pace of discussions on the access of poor countries to the anti-Covid vaccine.
Speaking with journalists at the end of the virtual G20 summit, the German Chancellor said: "Now we will see with the Gavi Alliance when these negotiations will start, because I fear that nothing has been done yet".
The Gavi Alliance brings together developing countries, donor countries, international organizations such as WHO and World Bank and private entities, to guarantee access to vaccines for poor countries.
