(ANSA) - KABUL, NOV 22 - The Afghan vice president, AmrullahSaleh, has promised that the culprits of yesterday's attack in Kabul claimed by ISIS will be found, while the death toll is worsening: 10 civilians killed in the explosion of rockets and 51 injured.
"We will find the networks that helped carry rockets used in the attack," Amrullah Saleh said on his Facebook page.
In the past six months, the Taliban have carried out 53 suicide attacks and 1,250 attacks, which resulted in 1,210 deaths and 2,500 civilians injured, Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian recalled.
The whole country continues to be ravaged by violence despite ongoing talks between Kabul and insurgents since 12 September.
The attack took place in view of the Saturday meetings in the Qatari capital, Doha, between the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the Taliban and the negotiators of the Afghan government.
Pompeo tried to push both sides to speed up talks as Washington continues to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan (ANSA).
