28,337 new cases of coronavirus have been identified in Italy in the last 24 hours, more than 6 thousand less than yesterday, which bring the total number of infected persons since the beginning of the emergency to 1,408,868.
The increase in victims also decreased, 562 in one day while yesterday there were 692, for a total of 49,823.
After yesterday's decline - only 10 new patients - hospitalizations in intensive care are back on the rise: according to the bulletin of the Ministry of Health, 43 new entries in the last 24 hours for a total of 3,801.
In the ordinary wards of hospitals, 34,279 patients are hospitalized, an increase of 216 compared to yesterday. Finally, 767,867 Italians are in home isolation, 13,942 more.
At the regional level, Lombardy is always the region with the highest number of cases, 5,094 in the last 24 hours, followed by Campania (+3,217), Veneto (+2,956), Emilia Romagna (2,665) and Piedmont (+ 2-641). Four-digit growth is also recorded in Lazio, Tuscany, Sicily and Puglia
