(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, NOV 23 - Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu and the director of Mossad Yossi met the Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman yesterday in Saudi Arabia in a secret meeting.
According to some media reports, the meeting was also attended by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The premier's office - quoted by the media - did not want to comment on the indiscretion.
The meeting - according to Israeli sources reported by the media - took place in Neom, a high-tech Saudi city on the Rossonon Sea far from the borders with Egypt. It is considered the smart city of Arabia. Netanyahu and Cohen arrived aboard a private plane that - according to media reports - was tracked by flight sites. He stayed ashore for about two hours and returned to Israel around half past midnight. Haaretz claims that it is the same private plane that brought the prime minister to Russia for his visits to President Putin. The same thing he wanted to take to go to Washington to sign the Abrahamic Agreements but which was later replaced with an El Al flight.
