Baruch Shaashani Celeb:

After the scandal she caused with the clip "Hamsa Hamsa", singer Adi Beatty is expected to play a surprising first leading role in cinema - a girl from an ultra-Orthodox home, according to various reports in ultra-Orthodox media, including the Instagram page "The Rebbetzin".

The film, dubbed "Good Guys", will be produced by real estate man and ultra-Orthodox producer Yaki Reisner in collaboration with Tzachi Cohen and United King and directed by Erez Tadmor, who co-wrote the script with Hava Divon ("Knitted"), and is expected to release in the summer of 2021.

According to reports, Beatty (19) was cast as Ruthie, an ultra-Orthodox girl who is married to Moti, a yeshiva boy who is considered a prostitute in the Torah and a wanted match and will be played by actor Amit Rahav, the star of "The Rebel."

Also expected to take part in the film: Irit Kaplan as the matchmaker, Yaki Reisner as Rafael, the matchmaker's husband, and Maor Schweitzer in the lead role as the matchmaker's apprentice.

Although he received more than two hundred likes, the reactions to Beatty's casting in the ultra-Orthodox world did not fade.

"Shame they give her after what she did," one surfer was furious and another added that choosing a non-sector player hurts actresses who are desperate for a break-in.

The reactions "I do not want her", "Damn" and "Oh no" also appeared.

• Watch the provocative music video by Adi Beatty

As mentioned, Beatty caused a big public and media storm last October, with the release of her music video for the song "Hamsa Hamsa", due to its provocative content.

She was condemned and attacked for her excessive sexuality and problematic messages, which some have called a "contribution to the culture of rape."

She was also sentenced to five days in jail after being interviewed without the permission of a court.

On behalf of Beatty it was reported: No response.
