The Transportation Safety Board reported on Monday that the helicopter in which Jorge Brito was traveling fell to the ground last Friday after hitting the tension cables of a zip line.
The banker and the pilot of the ship lost their lives in the accident.
"On a general (executive) aviation flight, during the cruise phase between two hillsides, the helicopter hit the tension cables of a zip line. As a consequence, the aircraft fell to the ground and was destroyed. Both occupants died," says the preliminary report. , presented this Monday morning.
The report also includes other details of the accident such as the date and time, the place and the exact coordinates where the ship fell.
The helicopter, according to the document, was a Eurocopter brand, model AS-350-B3, registration LV-FQN, the flight began at Finca Las Costas and was scheduled to land in the town of Joaquín V. González in Salta.
