From film to film.
Angelina Jolie will be donning her director's hat for the fifth time for a biopic of photojournalist Don McCullin, according to
Deadline
.
The film, still without a release date, will be an adaptation of the autobiography
Unreasonable Behavior
with Tom Hardy in the lead role.

Born in London in 1935, Don McCullin is a war photographer.
First assistant photographer during the Suez Canal crisis in 1956, he sold his first photo to
The
Observer
in 1959. Between 1966 and 1984, he worked for the
Sunday Times Magazine
as a foreign correspondent.
During this period, he notably covered the Vietnam War and the North Irish conflict.
A work that will make him known throughout the world.

I am very honored to have the opportunity to film the life of Don McCullin
," Jolie said in a statement.
I was drawn to both his fearlessness and his humanity.
Both his absolute commitment to bear witness to the truth of war, and his empathy and respect for those who suffer the consequences.
We hope to make a film as uncompromising as Don McCullin's photography, about the extraordinary people and events he has witnessed, and the rise and fall of a unique era in journalism.

As a director, Angelina Jolie has taken a keen interest in contemporary conflicts.
