Perry's husband, entertainment reporter and presenter Paul Castibel, also shared the photo on Instagram and wrote: "These have been some difficult weeks and we are grateful for all your love and prayers."

The tragedy of Perry and her husband comes after January this year they experienced an abortion in the 11th week.

"We are completely broken," she wrote at the time but added: "I want to continue to help change the story and stigma around abortion, secrecy and shame. I am sad but not ashamed. I am constantly moved by how amazing and powerful women in creating life and recovery are. I see you and love you. "

The current pregnancy was also difficult and complicated, and the baby she was carrying in her womb suffered from a life-threatening intestinal obstruction.

Perry kept her many fans updated on her health throughout her pregnancy, and about two weeks ago revealed that she had to be hospitalized and would probably have to give birth earlier than expected.

"Please send love from your heart to the little heart that is beating inside me," she asked her followers. "I am grateful to the doctors and nurses and I will do whatever they ask."

On Friday, Perry (who was reportedly in her 32nd week) announced that the baby would have to undergo surgery immediately after birth due to the life-threatening bowel obstruction she was diagnosed with, and excitedly thanked thousands of her fans for the support.

"Thank you friends for thousands of messages, stories, prayers, texts, flowers and support. Me and the baby are fine."

Last July, Perry, who became famous in 2010 with the hit "Jar Of Hearts", revealed that she and her husband, parents of two-year-old Carmela, are expecting a second child.
