(ANSA) - CATANZARO, 25 NOV - The 36-year-old is accused of murder, with the aggravating circumstance of having committed the act against a person linked to him by an emotional relationship, for abject reasons with premeditation, as well as for the crime of concealing a body subjected to arrest by the prosecutor on charges of being the perpetrator of the murder of a 51-year-old woman whose corpse was found in Stalettì.
Already yesterday afternoon, the carabinieri of the Compagnia diSoverato had begun their searches after the disappearance made by family members to the soldiers of Gasperina.
The last time the woman was seen on Monday morning by her employers, a family from Catanzaro where she did the cleaning.
The investigations, directed by the Procura della Repubblica di Catanzaro, allowed the carabinieri to identify, late yesterday, the woman's body lying and half hidden in a cavity between the Pietragrande cliff, along the coast of the municipality of Stalettì.
From the external examination it emerged that the victim was killed with numerous stab wounds.
At the end of investigations aimed at ascertaining the latest contacts made by the woman, the investigators of the Soverato Arma and the Provincial Command of Catanzaro traced back to the 36-year-old from Catanzaro who had a sentimental relationship with the woman.
The man, originally from Badolato, was detained after being interrogated before the deputy prosecutor of the Republic Anna Chiara Reale.
