All over Argentina's capital, Diego Maradona fans have gathered to sing and dance in memory of the footballer.

"Argentina is dead today," blurted a fan in front of the Obelisk in Buenos Aires.

"I love Maradona, he can have all the flaws you want off the pitch, but as a footballer he taught me too much" explains another, with tears in his eyes, in front of the stadium of the Boca juniors club .

The body of the football idol has arrived at the Argentine presidential palace in Buenos Aires where the funeral vigil in his memory will be held.
