The scenario:
Calabria is everywhere.
The team around Faber and Bönisch (Jörg Hartmann and Anna Schudt) observes a small, rustic trattoria on the outskirts of Dortmund, which is probably used by the 'Ndrangheta as a transshipment point to distribute cocaine in Northern Europe.
When Inspector Dalay (Aylin Tezel in her last "Tatort" appearance) approaches the landlord's wife undercover, the destructive power of the Calabrian clan on the small family is revealed.
The highlight:
No godfather far and wide.
This "crime scene" takes place on the poor fringes of organized crime.
It is not pinstripe bosses with whisper voices that exercise violence here, but undercut asis with baseball bats.
It is the precarious substructure of the 'Ndrangheta that keeps narcocapitalism going.
In the second part of this anniversary »crime scene« on next Sunday, it goes to Munich to see the great real estate sponsors with noble Italian connections.

Cop overkill in the camper van.
The Dortmund team of investigators observes the suspicious trattoria from an old cart - there they are visited by their Munich colleagues Batic and Leitmayr, who are also on the trail of the Mafia.
In the second leg next Sunday, Faber rioted around the noble Italian in Munich.
The dialogue:
At the coffee machine in the district.
Faber is depressed that he was called back in the investigation.
Faber: "You can get to the root of a problem ..."
Dalay: “It's political. Different priority. Islamism. Right violence. "
Faber: “Yes, of course. Calabrese. 44 billion annual sales, but we don't have to look at that. "
The song:
When the events tragically come to a head and the family in the trattoria dismantles itself, a song by the soundtrack composers Florian van Volxem and Sven Rossenbach can be heard, which combines Calabrian musical elements into a stirring lament.
In addition, images of the mountain village from which the landlord comes are displayed.
Great opera.
The review:
9 out of 10 points.
A furious mafia thriller that tells from a small family cell of the destructive power of the billionaire company 'Ndrangheta.
