Two videos spread like wildfire on social networks and reignited the debate around the drafting of article 24 of the comprehensive security law.
The first, signed Remy Buisine, journalist at Brut, testified to the muscular evacuation by the police of the migrants gathered at Place de République on Monday evening.
The second, signed David Perrotin, journalist from Loopsider, reported on the beating by the police, of the music producer Michel Zecler.
The facts unfolded on Saturday and David Perrotin investigated for three days before posting the video on Thursday.
It has been seen almost 20 million times.
