It's one of the many things that people miss in shutdown - dining out.
There are no such pictures in the Corona autumn and winter: The gastronomy will remain closed for the time being.
But Ulrike Steffens from the Neumünster Cooking School has thought of an alternative.
Here guests are served at the table - but they have to bring the table themselves, including the mobile home.
At the motorhome dinner, the guests drive up and are then taken care of in the parking lot.
There are drinks and a set menu.
For many a successful plan B.
Andreas Schuldt, guest at the motorhome dinner:
"I drove around Germany, actually wanted to go to Portugal and where the weather is now fine. And now we're making our own nice weather here."
The rush is great, most of the appointments are already fully booked.
The culinary school has reached its limits - also because the effects of the first shutdown are still having an effect.
Bettina Seitz, Kochschule Neumünster:
"As you know, the corona crisis used to be accompanied by the fact that we had to lay people off. Today, with the rush for our motorhome dinner, we obviously miss them. At the moment we could actually increase staff to include more To make appointments. We are currently also working on recruiting staff and making sure that we can make as many people as possible happy here. "
Cutlery, glasses, napkins, tablecloths and candles - the cooking school provides all of this.
In this way, the service comes as close to a restaurant visit as safety and the rules allow.
Until then - at some point - the corona numbers allow the catering trade to open again and cozy dining in the restaurant is possible again.
