- TEL AVIV, 29 NOV - "Our message is clear: we will continue to operate vigorously against Iran's entrenchment in Syria and we are prepared for any form of aggression against us". This was stated by the chief of the Israeli army Avi Kochavi on a visit this morning on the Golan on the border with Syria, 48 hours after the killing of the Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
Kochavi stressed that while Israeli commanders on Golan operate "routinely" it is "crucial to keep attention in the face of possible developments in the region".
