France: government 'rewrites' disputed article in the square

(ANSA) - PARIS, NOV 30 - The French government majority will propose "a completely new version of article 24", the most contested of the law on "global security", which provides for a ban on filming or photographing inaction police officers.

The decision came after a summit at the Elysée, with ministers and group leaders convened by Emmanuel Macron.
