Corona eruption in the Dead Sea: The
Ministry of Health today (Tuesday) approved Isrotel Dead Sea to return to work on the condition that all staff be replaced, and after an inspection conducted at the site.
A total of 16 employees were identified as positive at the end of the inspections, and in the inspections of the hotel guests, one positive was found, but it is of course not possible to know for sure that he was infected with the hotel.
On Saturday, the Ministry of Health announced that 11 employees at the hotel had been diagnosed in Corona (since the number had risen to 16), as part of a survey conducted among kitchen and services workers at the hotel.
In a discussion held by the director general of the Ministry of Health, Professor Hezi Levy, it was decided to suspend the hotel's activities until the required inspections were completed.
