Two hundred people, mostly members of the French community in Mexico City, organized a white march on Monday, November 30, in memory of Baptiste Lormand, a 45-year-old French restaurateur, and his Mexican partner.
Baptiste Lormand, 45, also holder of Mexican nationality, was the owner of Surtidora Don Batiz, a restaurant in Polanco, an upscale neighborhood near the city center, where many foreigners, diplomats and journalists live.
His body and that of his partner were found Saturday, November 28 in Tlapan, in the south of the capital, while they were delivering bottles of high-end alcohol.
"Apparently, the two men were stripped of bottles of wine of great market value," the city's security secretary, Omar Garcia Harfuch, told a press conference on Sunday.
On Tuesday, local authorities announced that a suspect had been arrested.
This is Miguel Ángel N, 30, the leader of a gang of drug traffickers.
