“Les impatientes” was also in the running for Prix Goncourt, finally awarded to “The Anomaly” by Hervé Le Tellier on Monday.


Second in the Prix Goncourt at the start of the week, the novel "Les Impatientes" by Djaïli Amadou Amal, was finally awarded the 33rd Goncourt des Lycéens awarded this Wednesday afternoon.

The Cameroonian writer, star of literature in her country, is rewarded for “Les Impatientes” (Emmanuelle Collas), a poignant novel on the condition of women in the South Sahel.
