EuroMillions: no big winner, the jackpot will be put back into play

No EuroMillions player has found the five right numbers and the two right stars that would have allowed him to pocket the historic jackpot

Chance decided to make the suspense last.

No player from the Old Continent has found the five good numbers (14, 20, 27, 34, 38) and the two good stars (1, 11) that would have allowed him to pocket the historic jackpot of 200 million euros all round at EuroMillions in the draw this Friday evening.

Result: this record jackpot returns to center stage on Tuesday with an identical amount.

The new rules of the European lottery, in force since last February, provide that it can be put back into play for four consecutive draws, before being necessarily won or shared at the lower winning rank.

At the end of this cycle, the amount at stake will start again at 17 million euros and may then reach, if there is no luck, a new level of 210 million euros.

The same mechanism will apply up to a maximum ceiling of 250 million euros.

Until recent months, this ceiling amounted to 190 million euros.

It has been won four times, twice in the UK, once in Spain and again in Portugal.

One in nearly 140 million chance

In France, some 5 million numbers aficionados tried their luck for this exceptional draw, twice as many as usual.

The super lucky one who takes down this treasure fallen from the sky will then have the means to afford, at their choice, two Airbus A320s, more than 4,000 gold bars, 2,430 nights in the most expensive hotel room in the world (a suite incredible at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas) or 12 models of Bugatti's The Black Car, the most expensive car on the planet.

Each player has a one in nearly 140 million chance of winning the nest egg!
