Gluten-free foods in the test: products contaminated with harmful substances
Most
gluten-free foods
can be consumed by consumers
without hesitation,

But not all products were able to convince the experts: In a total of seven gluten-free foods in the
test
, the consumer
experts
found harmful
substances
such as arsenic, mold toxins, vegetable toxins and glyphosate.
Through the
test
like for example, the Werz Gluten-free brown millet toast, since the experts of eco-test have demonstrated high levels of toxic tropane alkaloids.
These
pollutants
can affect the central nervous system and heart rate.
According to the

.
Seven other gluten-free products scored “satisfactory” in the test: The experts from
Öko-Test
found the “Rapunzel Rice-Spaghetti Gluten-Free” to have
a greatly increased arsenic content and the “K-Free Gluten-Free Seed Bread” from Kaufland had increased mineral oil components and Traces of glyphosate.
