(ANSA) - BARI, 09 DEC - The investigating judge of the Bari Court Giuseppe De Benedictis ordered the ban for three months of the general director of the Bari General Hospital Giovanni Migliore, the medical director Matilde Carlucci and the Areatecnica director Claudio Forte.
He decided this, accepting the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office as part of the investigation into four perlegionella deaths that occurred from 2018 to 2020. The charges are for omission of official acts and death as a consequence of another crime.
In recent weeks the preventive sequestering had been ordered with the right to use two pavilions of the Policlinico, Chini and Asclepios, because they were infected with Legionella.
