The Minister of the Interior details the modalities of the curfew that the French will have to respect between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., from December 15.

The deconfinement will take place on December 15 in France, but the health restrictions following it are reinforced, with in particular the entry into force of a curfew.

From Tuesday, it will be forbidden to leave your home at night, with some exceptions, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., instead of 9 p.m. initially planned by Emmanuel Macron on November 24.

Gérald Darmanin detailed the measures that the French will have to respect, in particular the need "to make arrangements to be at home at 8 pm", and this even if the stores remain open until this time.

During the day, however, the certificate will no longer be necessary, and the French will be able to travel between regions.

The Minister of the Interior also claims to have asked the police to intensify their controls.

They will do so "with tact and moderation, but no instructions of indulgence will be given to them".

Any offender will be liable to a fine of € 135, the same amount as during confinement.
