The Government and the autonomous communities address this afternoon in the Interterritorial Health Council the different vaccination strategies against covid in each territory. Several regional officials have assured this morning that they will receive weekly batches of doses, such as those of the Community of Madrid or those of Navarra. The central Executive has indicated to the autonomies that next Sunday the territories will receive specific doses to begin vaccination, although doses will be distributed on Mondays, as indicated by the vice president of the Community of Madrid, Ignacio Aguado. In Europe, a case of the so-called British variant of covid-19 has been detected in a person living in Ancona, in central Italy. The patient has had no contact with people from the UK, according to sources cited by the Italian media. Germany has registered 24,740 new cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, as well as 962 deaths. It is the highest number of deaths recorded in a day since the pandemic began, 10 more than the previous record number, marked a week ago. The United Kingdom, which has attracted attention since the detection of a new strain of the most contagious covid-19, reached a record of daily infections on Tuesday, with 36,804 new cases.
