Croatia earthquake: severe damage to Petrinja, collapsed buildings

(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, DECEMBER 29 - The epicenter of the strong 6.3 magnitude earthquake in Croatia was located around Petrinja, about fifty km south of Zagreb, a region already hit by earthquakes yesterday.

Regional media reports of severe damage in Petrinja, with collapsed buildings, outages of electricity and telephone lines.

The earthquake was felt throughout Croatia but also in Serbia and Kosnia-Herzegovina (ANSAmed).
